Reservation / Cancellation And Payment Policy

Payment Policy

* 20% of the Invoice value at the time of Reservation (Soon after you receive the confirmation mail and invoice).
* 30% of the Invoice value 30 days before arrival.
* 50% of the Invoice value on arrival.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel the reservation:
* On or before 30 days preceding your check-in date, you have to pay 10% of invoice amount (banking fee +
   administration fee).
* On or before 15 days preceding your check-in date, you pay 20% of invoice amount.
* On or before 7 days preceding your check-in date, you pay 30% of invoice amount.
* Less than 7 days preceding your check-in date or No Show, 100% advance paid.

How to make the payments?

You can deposit Cash, Cheques or Drafts in our any of the following bank accounts:
Cheques or drafts should be in favors of "Kohimaran Travel Or Kohimaran Group" payable in Srinagar. We also accept all MASTER CARDS, VISA CARDS as well the traveler cheques. You can also pay through Bank Transfers.

What sort of acknowledgement will I receive?

When your booking is confirmed we will send you a confirmation mail along with invoice. After receiving the advance payment a "confirmation voucher” will be sent directly to the hotel/hotels by mail and you will also receive the copy of the same by email.

What is a CONFIRMATION VOUCHER?

Once we received the advance payment, we will send you by email, a confirmation voucher detailing all the reservation. On your arrival we will hand over the original confirmation vouchers to you and you will be asked to present the same at front desk upon check-in. If it is not possible to hand over the vouchers to you, we will send them directly to the hotel/hotels and in that case you just have to show your identity along with print out of the confirmation voucher.

Do I need to confirm my booking with the hotel directly?
No. We issue the confirmation voucher only after getting the written confirmation from the hotel. The Confirmation Voucher printed from the confirmation mail is all you need.

How long does it take to get a confirmation?
24 to 48 hours except for special cases (during festival periods, weekends, high season, or special events...). It may sometimes take only a few hours: we are trying our best to get back to you as soon as possible.

Reservation Procedure

Making a reservation with "Kohimarangroup.com" is very easy. Just complete and send the reservation form making sure that you have given us your e-mail address. As soon as we receive your request, we will contact your chosen hotel within few hours to confirm your reservation and advise you the reservation status within 24 hours except for special cases. It may sometimes take only a few hours. If any of the hotels chosen by you is fully booked and not available, we will suggest you the alternative hotels. We try our best to get back to you as soon as possible and it is our policy to reply to all requests within 24 to 48 hours except for special cases (during festival periods, weekends, high season, or special events). Once all the hotels are confirmed, we will send you a confirmation mail detailing all the reservation and price conditions. Along with we will send you an invoice to make the advance payment. After receiving the advance, we will send you the confirmation vouchers by email.

Our liabilities & limitations

All efforts will be made sincerely to maintain the contract made by our organization with its customers but there are always possibilities of certain Items like airfares, entrance fee at the monuments or drastic increase in fuel costs etc. getting more expensive without any notice from the Govt. authorities. In such conditions, the difference in the cost would be borne by the customers. Kohimaran Group, Srinagar act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by actual suppliers.

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or even after the commencement of the tour. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interest of the trip participants safety, comfort & general well being.

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and Airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programmer or expenses incurred – directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, and closures/blockades due to political unrest or any such incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage's & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk. Our transport is certainly Insured as per Indian Motor Vehicles Act and claims, if any, will be made as per the rules of the Insurance Companies in Indian Rupees.
